10 AM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 18th:

FYI, our first-ever submittal of "Photosets Pro" is currently "In Review" at Apple App Review ... it's a BIG update relative to the last update of Photosets X (9/28/2017 - 12/5/2017), and certainly even more so to the last update of our original app, Photosets (6/10/2015 - 9/5/2017).

Photosets Pro represents the culmination of over 15,000 R&D hours into our "Photosets" family of apps.

7 PM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, January 17th:

FYI, Apple App Review rejected our first-ever submittal of "Photosets TV for Mac" earlier today ... while the reasons we're minor, and we had been working on resolving them, we've since decided NOT to offer our first-ever macOS app to the General Public ... it's simply too valuable, and we've concluded it could be a catastrophic blunder for us to do so.

Furthermore, we're now in the process of stripping-off our two-newest iOS Flagship features, Multi-View Capture and Photosets TV Capture, in our yet-to-be-submitted "Photosets Pro" camera app ... and here, for the exact same reason. [Update: R&D revolted when we attempted to do so, so we kept both features in].

We've devoted ALOT of time & hard work into our two newest Photosets Pro features, and while we do now have a credible & viable "mobile photo streaming" solution (from iOS to macOS), and one that we we're comfortable going to market with, we're now going to keep it "In House," and focus on Enhancing & Refining it's functionality as much as possible, while at the same time improving it's performance as much as possible !

One of the reasons Apple App Review rejected our submittal was because we included the word "Mac" in the app's name ... we'll, we've since updated the name to "Photosets TV Prototype," making it Crystal Clear that macOS is (now) just the first of many platforms that we'll be supporting !

We hope to submit Photosets Pro to Apple App Review, (soon) without Multi-View Capture and Photosets TV Capture, perhaps as early as late Thursday.

To summarize, Photosets Pro, our iOS app, will soon become available to the General Public ... Photosets TV Prototype, our newly RE-named macOS app, will NOT be offered to the General Public (we can create a Billion Dollar Company FASTER by keeping it "In House" !).

Ultimately, the Streaming of Motion Photography Photosets could be perceived by many as our Crowning Achievement !

"Launch Screen" for our "Photosets TV Prototype" macOS app

11 AM (San Diego-time) update for Monday, January 15th:

FYI, later today we'll be submitting our two newest apps to Apple App Review ! ... upon Release to the General Public, they will usher-in the Streaming of Motion Photography Photosets directly from the Camera Capture Pipeline of an iOS device to an external Mac computer !

Note that "Photosets Pro" does in-deed support the streaming of UN-compressed 10-bit color BGR10A2, however, Apple has NOT YET enabled 10-bit color capture ... now that a viable & credible solution will soon become available to the General Public, we are going to press them to do so (i.e., to Enable it) ... we believe, at a MIN, the 8, 8+ and X ALL include (hidden) support for 10-bit Display P3 capture ... we believe they chose NOT to announce support for it in September 2017, simply because the X's display is NOT a 10-bit color display, and they did NOT want that becoming common knowledge ... we believe Apple will now RE-consider their silence on support for 10-bit color capture (even for Apple, the Pros now SIGNIFICANTLY outweigh the Cons).

Note also that "Photosets TV for Mac" supports up-to FOUR concurrent Rx streams !

For those of you following us, we now believe we will soon reach Unicorn status !

11:30 AM (San Diego-time) update for Sunday, January 14th:

FYI, we're moving forward with the Imminent Release of "Photosets Pro" (~$1 USD & available ONLY in the U.S.), and "Photosets TV for Mac" (also ~$1 USD & also available ONLY in the U.S.).

Over the past month, we been Enhancing & Refining a new Flagship feature, the streaming of Motion Photography Photosets (as .jpg, .bgra, or .rgb photos), directly from the Camera Capture Pipeline of Photosets Pro to Photosets TV for Mac.

Our reasoning for releasing the two apps now is very simple, we want more Insititutional Investors to take notice of what we have accomplished !

The implications of what we have accomplished, even if it's just considered a Prototype (by some), are significant ... those Skilled in the Art should easily be able to figure it out ... ALL others will simply have to wait.

Qualcomm and Intel are (also) now at the top of our list of preferred Corporate Partners, for obvious reasons (or more specifically, obvious to those Skilled in the Art).

7:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, January 12th:

FYI, "Photosets Pro" (and specifically it's "Photosets TV Capture" feature), supports the capture (& streaming) of two Pixel Format Types that most Users have NO experience with, UN-compressed RGB and BGRA ... NOT to be confused with RAW photo capture, UN-compressed RGB and BGRA photos have been processed by Apple's Image Signal Processer (ISP), whereas RAW photos have NOT ... since UN-compressed BGR10A2 (i.e., 10-bit color) represents the future of high-end motion photography, we believe it's time to start educating our Users about how-best to work with UN-compressed photosets ... first, we'll start with the storage requirements.

Clearly, it's NOT practical to store such photosets on an iPhone, so we don't ... we stream them off, directly from the Camera Capture Pipeline, on a per-photo basis ... that's where our macOS app, Photosets TV for Mac, comes into the mix ... functionally, we've got the streaming working to our satisfaction ... however, we're NOT at all happy with the (streaming) performance ... as such, Rocket was RE-born to help improve that, as well as to help us define the path to High-Performance Streaming of UN-compressed photosets.

You can think of Rocket as a First of It's Kind "high-performance mobile wireless buffer," with both high-performance DRAM, and high-performance / highly-secure NAND Flash Storage ... the first version of Rocket will very-likely NOT include support for 802.11ad Wi-Fi ... from our perspective, AD Wi-Fi is really ONLY needed for Thunder ... but even with ONLY 802.11ac, Rocket can, & will, improve-upon what can be accomplished with a MacBook Pro as the direct reciptent of streamed photos.

Our first Rocket prototype, the one that we are building right now, includes both AC Wi-Fi and AD Wi-Fi support, so that we may experiment with it as much as possible ... however, we will very-likely Release a low-cost AC-only Wi-Fi version first, and ASAP, followed-by a version with support for both AC & AD Wi-Fi (when Thunder becomes available).

The low-cost AC-only Wi-Fi version will very-likely NOT be mobile, and NOT include any NAND Flash Storage, so that we may offer it ASAP, and at ONLY $49 USD ... it will include 4 GB of high-performance DRAM, and a single USB-C port (for connecting to an Apple computer that's running Photosets TV for Mac), and purpose-built for high-performance Peer-to-Peer wireless networking ... think of this as a nice interim step towards where we want to go ... you can also think of it as a Quick & Dirty solution that will help us showcase what we've already accomplished !

From looking at the numbers in the table below, it's crystal clear that Real-Time Steaming of UN-compressed photos won't be happening anything soon ! ... however, that doesn't mean a properly-partitioned Camera Capture Pipeline can't support streaming of UN-compressed photos with minimal delay, which is what Photosets Pro attempts to do.

To understand what we're attemting to do, it's best to look at how photos will be transferred in two steps:

1.)  iPhone -to- Rocket via AC Wi-Fi, and

2.)  Rocket -to- any (mobile ?) computer via USB-C.

Even if iPhones supported AD Wi-Fi, and Rocket included AD Wi-Fi support (on the frontend), step #1 would still be the performance bottleneck ... however, the performance impact clearly wouldn't be as severe.

To us, it's a given that Rocket will include 4 GB of high-performance DRAM ... what's still TBD however, is whether Rocket will include 16 GB of high-performance / highly-secure NAND Flash Storage, and whether it will be self-powered via it's own (small) battery.

Rocket needs to work well in two completely different applications, "In the Field," where NAND Flash Storage is absolutely needed, and "In the Studio," where NAND Flash Storage isn't necessarily needed ... if we choose to address both applications with a single product, we'd obviously need to include NAND Flash Storage.

The best we can do is offer an interim Stop Gap solution for iPhones running Photosets Pro, until Thunder is released, and of course, Thunder will in-deed include support for AD Wi-Fi !

9:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 11th:

FYI, we've added a new iOS app to our Roadmap, "Photosets Lite," a scaled-down version of Photosets Pro, intended strictly for controlling Thunder, presenting it's "Live Preview," and synchronizing capture with Rocket.

Photosets Lite will be a FREE app, but won't work (at-all) without Thunder & Rocket ... the wireless communication links between Photosets Lite and Thunder AND between Photosets Lite and Rocket, need to be, & will be, highly-secure, and it is for this reason that we've decided to make a new dedicated app.

Furthermore, by making it a dedicated app with highly-secure links, we can offer this as a "Military-grade Bundle," perhaps a first in the history of smartphone photography.

For those of you unsure of how this all fits together, neither Thunder nor Rocket needs to be directly-attached to your iPhone ... they can be, and we'll provide everything you need to do so, but they do NOT need to be ... Users will have FULL freedom & flexibility.

6 PM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 11th:

FYI, we've Updated the Price & Availability Strategy for our two pending apps, and have Updated the Table below to reflect it (see the changes in red).

We (now) don't expect any (initial) sales of either from the General Public, only from potential Investors & Corp Partners.

Our top priority is to showcase what we've accomplished to potential Investors & Corp Partners, so that we may obtain an appropriate Marketing Budget ... the recent changes reflect that.

Our goal is to sell 25% of the company, post-money, where half the shares come from company Founders, and the other half directly from the company ... pre-money valuation is currently in the range of $205M to $250M.

1:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 11th:

FYI, because of the recent resurrection of Rocket, we've decided NOT to Release our first-ever macOS app, Photosets TV for Mac, to the General Public during the month of January ... we (now) simply need to present it to a number of potential Investors & Corp Partners before doing so.

9 AM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 11th:

FYI, today we wanted to make it crystal clear to everyone that Rocket is a First of It's Kind Product ! ... while it's obvious key feature is that it Offloads motion photography photosets from an iPhone, it's NOT so obvious key feature is that it enables groups of Users to craft innovative Group-oriented Video Stories ... specifically, the photosets, whether they're based-upon .jpg, .bgra, or .rgb photos, and whether they all come from one Device and one User, or from many Devices and many Users, can be Imported into our (pending) Photosets TV for Mac (Group-oriented Video Story Maker) app !

Whether In the Field or In the Studio, Rocket will be an important iPhone accessory, perhaps the most-important to many iPhone owners.

True innovation doesn't come from the largest of companies, it comes from the smallest of companies !

8:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, January 10th:

FYI, earlier today we began pitching an entirely new idea to select Institutional Investors, a mobile Flash Storage solution that we now call "Rocket," that could be used to Offload motion photography photosets as they are being captured from any camera, while ALSO offering support for powering an iPhone (to cover the case that our "Photosets Pro" iOS app is being used as the camera).

Six months or so ago, we began working on a similar idea for use with our "Thunder" 50mm 10-bit color (attachment) camera, using a 60 GHZ wireless link ... so in reality, what we began pitching earlier today, is really just an Enhanced & Refined version of that ... in other words, new to them, NOT to us.

As it currently stands, the initial version of "Rocket" would support up-to (10) 30-photo Full Res 12 Mpx photosets, OR up-to (10) 45-photo 4K photosets, OR "any mix of the two" up-to Ten photosets, AND of course, we're refering to photos in our favorite pixel format, UN-compressed (10-bit color) BGR10A2 !

You can expect 3 GB of high-performance DRAM + 16 GB of high-performance / highly-secure NAND Flash Storage, in addition to 3 Gbps / 60 GHz + WiFi + Bluetooth wireless support.

Think of it as a smaller than average thumb drive that attaches horizontaly to your iPhone, at the bottom of your iPhone, just-under the Lightning port.

It will provide power to your iPhone via the Lightning port whenever Photosets Pro is running, while simultaneously receiving motion photography photosets wirelessly, either from your iPhone via WiFi, or from an attached "Thunder" camera via the 3 Gbps / 60 GHz wireless link.

If priced right, say ~$99 USD or so, we believe it (alone) has the potential to be a Game Changer !

Apple's BatteryGate presents opportunity for others, and we hope to capitalize on it in a BIG way !

As you may or may NOT know, our iOS app's newly-developed "Photosets TV Capture" feature supports the streaming of motion photography photosets, directly from the Camera Capture Pipeline, to our macOS app, "Photosets TV for Mac," and that it supports three formats: i.)  Compressed JPEG, ii.)  UN-compressed BGRA, and iii.)  UN-compressed RGB.

Rocket will (naturally) support all three formats ... as such, when configured for Compressed JPEG, the number of photosets will (naturally) be significantly greater than that described above ... but make NO mistake, UN-compressed BGR10A2 is the future of (high-end) mobile motion photography !

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Tuesday, January 9th:

As many of you know, the most-valuable iOS apps on the planet ALL have one thing in common, they are ALL backed by a backend of custom networks & servers ... and, as many of you also know, many started Life shortly-after the Birth of the iOS App Store ... since then however, there have been NO real iOS app success stories ... neither from FREE iOS apps, nor from Paid iOS apps.

Our two pending apps, one an iOS app, and the other a macOS app, are about to break that trend, with an entirely new Business Model ! ... something that has been Off the Radar of most, but should NOT have been ... in fact, it's Fair to Say that we are in the position that we are in, strictly because so many others Dropped the Ball, and that we we're able to Fly Under the Radar for such a long time (2.5+ years).

Think of it as the primary "Pro" (benefit) of Apple's Stranglehold on App Discovery (in the iOS App Store).

Soon, we'll publicly demonstrate "Real-Time Streaming of Full Res 12 Mpx Motion Photography Photosets" from our iOS app to our macOS app ... and once we do, many others will immediately see what we already know, that it has the potential to become a true Game Changer ! ... here, simply think of a DE-centralization of the custom networks & servers that made the earlier app success stories possible, AND with an entirely new twist, direct connection to BIG screen TVs & monitors.

Whether In the Field or In the Studio, the combination of our two (pending) apps could trigger entirely new market opportunities for many ! ... exciting times ahead, NOT just for us, but also potentially for many !

11 PM (San Diego-time) update for Monday, January 8th:

FYI, we completed an important R&D Milestone today ... specifically, we now "officially" support the streaming of motion photography photosets from our iOS app to our macOS app, and by this we mean all three of the following formats: 1.) Compressed JPEG, 2.) UN-compressed BGRA, and 3.) UN-compressed RGB.

As such, Photosets Pro is now Q'd-up at Apple and is Ready to be Submitted to Apple App Review, pending ONLY updated screenshots ... in the meantime, we'll continue to Refine our Photosets TV for Mac app to the best of our ability.

Photosets Pro now clearly a thousand-dollar app (valuewise), a first for the iOS App Store ! ... as we mentioned earlier today, the Base version of the app will be priced at ~$1 USD ... we're doing so for a number of reasons, one of which (that we haven't previously mentioned) is because we believe there is great opportunity in the market space between Insta & Snap.

Note that our UN-compressed BGRA streaming format supports two different color depths, 8-bit bit color AND 10-bit color (i.e., BGR10A2) ... so we are, once again, way ahead of the (NOT so) Mighty Apple !

Independence from Apple's Stranglehold on App Discovery is what we desire most ... if you're an Institutional Investor, please take special note of that.

1 PM (San Diego-time) update for Monday, January 8th:

FYI, we've made a key decision to leverage both the iOS & macOS App Stores primarily for "distribution purposes" to potential Investors & Business Partners.

Specifically, we'll now be pricing the Base Version of both of our pending apps at $0.99 USD, and (as before) they will both be available ONLY in the States ... based-upon our (high) knowledge of the iOS App Store, pricing apps at even $1 above FREE will prevent 99.9% of all Apple users from even considering our apps ... AND, just as importantly, those Apple Users who do obtain our apps (i.e., what we'll refer to as the top 0.1%), will very-likely have sufficient knowledge to Master both apps on their own.

In other words, with this newest strategy, we'll be able to distribute our apps to select individuals & companies, while still enabling those with good (computer & photography) Knowledge & Skill to obtain them.

Stated differently, with this new strategy, we can effectively Lock Out most Apple users simply by pricing the Base Version of our apps above FREE, while still offering an efficient distribution channel to select others !

The Base version of Photosets Pro always included Base support for two new Flagship features, Multi-View Capture AND Photosets TV Capture ... so now, rather than give them away, it will cost ~$1 ... but more-importantly, this prevents the Armies of Dummies who know little or nothing about computers & photography from obtaining our apps, and potentially giving them Bad Ratings (i.e., too many Apple Users don't know the difference between DRAM and NAND, or even that their iPhones include DRAM in the first place).

The main purpose of the price change is "to control distribution".

8:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Saturday, January 6th:

FYI, we've decided to take advantage of the "Discounted" Introductory Pricing option available with new macOS apps, and offer the key functionality of Photosets TV for Mac as an Auto-Renewable Subscription.

Furthermore, and very-importantly, we've decided to offer Photosets TV for Mac in the Mac App Store ONLY from ~January 10th until June 10th, at which time availability will transition exclusively to this website.

In other words, starting June 10th, 2018, the 3-year anniversary from when of our original Photosets app became available in the iOS App Store, Photosets TV for Mac will ONLY be offered via this website ... at that time, it will be priced at $14.99 USD.

With this change, we're now comfortable offering our first-ever macOS app in Apple's Mac App Store.

You can think of this as a 5-month Pre-Order period with "real teeth" ! ... in other words, we'll be using the Mac App Store strictly for a (pseudo) Pre-Order period, lasting five months ... during that period, you'll be able to purchase & obtain the app at a small fraction of it's subsequent price.

The Photosets Pro "Sub" enables the camera's High-Performance Camera Capture Pipeline (i.e., up-to 30 photos per second at 12.2 Mpx capture resolution), while the Photosets TV "Sub" enables (custom) streaming of motion photography photosets, as they are being captured by our iOS app's camera, directly to our macOS app.

You can think of Photosets TV for Mac as the world's first (credible) "Group-oriented Video Story Maker" ... we'll divulge more details soon, including which other platforms we intend to port the code to.

Photosets Pro enables you to craft Video Stories from up-to 30 motion photography photosets ... Photosets TV for Mac takes it to an entirely different level, both in the number of Users that can participate, as well as the number of motion photography photosets that can be used as the source of content.

We do intend to retire Photosets TV for Mac from the Mac App Store at Midnight on June 9th, 2018.

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Friday, January 5th:

FYI, our current strategy is best summarized as follows:

1.)  Photosets TV for Mac will be Released soon, will be priced at $14.99 USD, and will ONLY be available via this website,

2.)  the Release of Photosets Pro will follow, AND will be positioned as a companion app to our Mac app, instead of the other way around.

Our Reasoning for this is very simple ... WE NOT ONLY DESIRE INDEPENDENCE from Apple and their Stranglehold on App Discovery (in the iOS App Store), but WE REQUIRE IT to become financially successful ... the curated iOS App Store is catastrophically broken, and we've lost all hope that Apple will ever fix it ... Games & Streaming Media Apps, as well as the few (other category) apps that Apple promotes, do well ... the rest have NO real chance of financial success ... add into the mix that Apple takes a 30% cut that they clearly do NOT deserve (especially since they do such a poor job "educating" iOS Users), and it becomes a simple decision for us ... our Product Positioning Strategy now is ALL-ABOUT gaining as much Independence from Apple as possible.

iOS Users have had many chances to get our two previous Photosets apps ... however, few took advange of it ... we Blame Apple ! ... we did our part, Apple did NOT do their part.

Our Photosets family of apps are the Most-Advanced & Highest-Performance camera apps in the entire history of smartphones ... when Our Strory goes mainstream, it could be a Wake Up Call to ALL other App Developers ... what we've learned along the way, is that the most-important part of being an App Developer is how-best to circumvent Tim Cook's Stranglehold on App Discovery ... that will very-likely be the Headline of Our Story, the specifics of this very topic ... for those of you here now, Watch & Learn.

And for those of you who don't really know Apple well, Tim Cook & Phil Schiller don't do what's best for Apple ... they do what's best to keep themselves In Power ... if the world knew what we knew, they would both be Immediately Fired by the Board ! ... perhaps we will have a chance to say a few words at the next Annual Shareholder's Meeting in February, on the behalf of a very large shareholder ... or perhaps one will say a few words on our behalf ... exciting times ahead !

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, January 4th:

FYI, today wanted to present an Updated table, to help clarify the key new features we've been working on.

And just so that it's Crystal Clear to everyone, the combination of the key new features listed in the table, PLUS our yet-to-be-Released companion Mac app, Photosets TV for Mac, is what will provide us with the infrastructure needed to gain our Independence from Apple, and their Stranglehold on App Discovery (in the iOS App Store).

If we had full control over what we're doing, we would NOT sell Photosets Pro in the iOS App Store ... it is NOT worthy of what we have accomplished !

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Tuesday, January 2nd:

FYI, today we've decided to delay the Release of both Photosets Pro and Photosets TV for Mac by 1-2 weeks, while we RE-work our Business Strategy ... specifically, we've made such fantastic progress on both apps over the month of December, that we now feel it's in our best interest to RE-examine our Business Strategy moving forward ... what we have now is simply way too important for the iOS App Store ... we've also always felt that the iOS App Store was catastrophically broken, and that Apple / Tim Cook has had, and continues to have, a Stranglehold on App Discovery ... as such, as we've moved the Technology Innovation bar even higher over the Holidays, and monitored web sites that post others' desires for CY2018, we concluded that "Independence from Apple & Tim Cook" is what we desire most ... as such, we're gonna spend some time RE-working our Business Strategy (as best as possible) to provide the Independence we desire.

If we we're in charge of the iOS App Store, we could fix it in a day ... but for whatever reason, Apple either can't, or simply won't, fix it !

The single-best thing Apple could do for it's App Developer Community in CY2018, is to provide a credible & viable "alternative" to the existing iOS App Store ... specifically, let us sell our apps OUTSIDE of the iOS App Store !, off our own websites !

We'd even be open to Apple taking a 15% cut (half their current number), if they were in charge of the financial transactions.

8 PM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, December 27th:

FYI, while the Lawyers & Private Investigators are doing their thing, we're continuing to do our thing ... specifically, we're Enhancing & Refining both Photosets Pro and Photosets TV for Mac ... we hope to Release both just after the first of the year, & Shake-Up the entire mobile industry in the process when we do ! ... both are currently scheduled for Release on January 3rd, one week from today.

Our main challenge with both apps is how-best to circumvent Tim Cook's Stranglehold on App Discovery ! ... a NON-trivial challenge, to say the least.

11 AM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, December 27th:

Today, we are announcing that we've hired a team of highly-skilled Lawyers & Private Investigators, for the sole purpose of going after those who are intent on doing us & our reputations harm.

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Friday, December 22nd:

Today we wanted to publicly state that Apple's recent Battery Gate issue represents another in a long line of Poor Judgements by Tim Cook, and his Upper Mgmt team ... rather than using the Battery Perf issue as an opportunity to Raise the Bar & Educate it's customers (about another important topic), Apple chose to keep silent, much like they have with the importance of DRAM, Wide Color, and our Photosets family of camera apps ... and, we believe, it's just a matter of time before Apple's Board figures this all out ... anyway, to us, Battery Gate is just another in a long stream of Blunders by Apple's current Upper Mgmt team !

If Steve Jobs had NOT done such a Masterful job of building-up Apple, Apple's current Upper Mgmt team would have (all) been Long Gone !

7 PM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, December 21st:

FYI, earlier today we decided NOT to Offer "Photosets TV for Mac" in the Mac App Store ... instead, we're going with our original plan, to Offer it ONLY via this website ... additionally, we plan to Release "Photosets TV for Mac" three days BEFORE "Photosets Pro".

And for those of you who are following us on our Quest to circumvent Apple's Stranglehold on App Discovery, we've decided to add a new Table to our website to make it easier to check Status.

And just so that it's crystal-clear to everyone, Photosets Pro and all it's associated attributes "may" top-out at $15B USD (market cap-wise) ... however, our Quest to circumvent Apple's Stranglehold on App Discovery, if successful, could easily "add" another $100B USD to that !

An innovative app & associated social net is nice, but a credible & viable alternative to Apple's "stranglehold" is worth much more in the grand scheme of things !

The key to making it happen is "owning" the ONLY true Flagship-caliber camera app in the entire history of mobile smartphones ! ... in other words, it's "the Reason" (we believe) they will Partner with us."'

If we had NOT devoted 15,000+ R&D hours into the Photosets family of apps, our Quest would NOT be possible ... but because we did, it is !

Menu & Other Options for Photosets Pro v1.0

7 PM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, December 20th:

FYI, yesterday we made the necessary changes in iTunes Connect to align the Launch of our Next-Generation iOS app, "Photosets Pro," with it's companion Mac app (& our First-Ever Mac app), "Photosets TV for Mac" ... they are both scheduled for Release on January 1st, and they are both setup for Pre-Order in their respective App Store.

Earlier today, Bloomberg reported that Apple plans to offer support for iOS apps on Macs ... coincidence ?, we don't think so.

Late today, we decided to make this website the #1 source on the internet for this particular topic ... as a starting point, think of what Bloomberg reported today as simply being an Apple-developed ARM co-processor (with a dedicated DDR controller to external DRAM) inside each new Mac.

Recently, a Line in the Sand was Crossed for us, when Apple started promoting their "What's a Computer" iPad TV commercial ... we've always felt Apple (under Tim Cook) has done an extremely poor job of educating our mutual customer base about new technologies (e.g., Wide Color) ... now, however, we feel they are intentially trying to make our mutual customers Dumber on even the most basic of topics !

For those of you who don't know, an iPhone or iPad is simply a custom computer ... and since it's a computer, the amount & quality of main memory (i.e., DRAM) is the single-most-important part of it after the main processor ... yet, it appears even many iPhone X owners have NO clue that their iPhones include DRAM, or of the key differences between DRAM and NAND Flash Storage in general.

As the Developers of the most-advanced & highest-performance camera app in the history of mobile smartphones, Apple's reluctance to educate our mutual customers has hurt us, as well as ALL OTHER app developers with Unique & Innovative apps ... and it is very-likely for this reason that the iOS App Store is catastrophically broken !

But Apple doesn't think their iOS App Store is broken, do they ?

We'll, NO, we don't think they do ... Apple has a Stranglehold on App Discovery (in the iOS App Store), and we strongly believe they absolutely Love that ! ... in fact, we believe they are Control Freaks, and that the main reason Apple provided information to Bloomberg late last night to Leak, was so that they would be perceived as being PRO-active in "expanding" the iOS App Store (at the precise time something else BIG was brewing !) ... specifically, what Bloomberg Leaked earlier today isn't about Enhancing the Mac App Store, it's really about Apple "expanding their stranglehold" in the iOS App Store (to Macs running iOS apps).

And for those of you who don't know, Photosets TV for Mac is simply a custom macOS version of Photosets Pro WITHOUT the camera functionality ... it's key feature is that it enables you to craft innovative Group-oriented Video Stories ! ... we decided to Release it in the Mac App Store simply because: 1.) It offers a Quick & Dirty solution, AND 2.) we could align Pre-Orders with Photosets Pro in the iOS App Store ... if NOT for that, we would NOT have even considered the Mac App Store ... and we may change our minds about where it gets Released ... we know of NO ONE who is truly a fan of the Mac App Store.

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Monday, December 18th:

FYI, the Imminent Release of "Photosets Pro" is about to occur !

The ONLY thing holding it up are the Screenshots.

Also, we've added-back both of our legacy apps, Photosets & Photosets X, so that new Users will have a better feel for the History of our Photosets family of apps.

Very specifically, Photosets X was a continuation of our original Photosets app ... Photosets Pro is a continuation of Photosets X.

To-date, we've devoted more than 15,000 R&D hours into the Photosets family of apps !

Photosets Pro includes ALOT of Enhancements & Refinements, as well as a few key Bug Fixes, relative to Photosets X.

11:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, December 15th:

FYI, while we are more or less Ready to Submit, we may NOT actually submit to Apple App Review late Sunday as planned ... earlier today, we came up with a new idea for a Marketing & Partnership Strategy, that includes Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile ... it's something that offers significant market opportunity for all sides, should it become adopted ... as such, we "may" delay the release of Photosets Pro v1.0 until after we've had a chance to pitch our newest idea.

6:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, December 13th:

FYI, we'd like to Summarize a few important things about "Photosets Pro":

1.) It's a FREE app, will be Released on January 1st, and will very-likely ONLY be Available for Download in the States,

2.) Without the "Photosets Pro" subscription, it's a Performance-crippled app (see the comments below about photo capture rates),

3.) Pricing for the "Photosets Pro" subscription is as follows:  $0.49 USD for the First Year, $0.99 USD for each Subsequent Year,

4.) Pre-Ordering could begin as early as December 23rd,

5.) It's a rare, true Flagship-caliber camera app, that has NO direct competitor !,

6.) We "may" delay the Release a few weeks (to pitch it to Institutional Investors, as well as potential Partner Companies),

7.) It's "sister" app, "Photosets for Android" is progressing well, and could potentially be Released on the exact same day !

10 AM (San Diego-time) update for Wednesday, December 13th:

FYI, we have decided to move-forward with a slightly-different app name, "Photosets Pro," rather than "Photosets Freedom" ... everything else we've described the past few days stays the same.

8:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Tuesday, December 12th:

FYI, today we decided to also adopt the 2nd app option announced by Apple just yesterday ... specifically, because Photosets Freemdom is a new app, it is eligible for the new Pre-Order option ... as such, we've now specified a Release date of January 1st, 2018, and plan to Open-Up Pre-Orders on December 23rd !

So, to summarize, yesterday we adopted one of the new Introductory Pricing options (see below), and today we adopted the Pre-Order option.

At launch, Photosets Freedom will very-likely ONLY be available in the States.

11:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Monday, December 11th:

FYI, we have decided to drop our custom B2B app efforts, and instead release Photosets Freedom v1.0 later this week to the iOS App Store ... earlier today, Apple announced (support for) "Introductory Pricing for (Auto-Renewable) Subs," which we believe "could" work well for us ... specifically, we're now in the process of adding a "Photosets Pro" sub to the app ... it will be priced at $0.49 USD for the first six months, and then ~$2 USD per year after that.

If a User decides NOT to extend the Photosets Pro sub after the six month Introductory Period, then, at that point, the Max photo capture rate is reduced from 30 photos per second to ONLY 15 photos per second ... all other features remain enabled.

If a User decides NEVER to sign-up for the Photosets Pro sub, then the Max photo capture rate remains set at ONLY 10 photos per second ... all other features remain enabled.

What makes the app special is it's High Capture Performance ... 4K, 12 Mpx, or 8 Mpx capture resolution at up-to 30 photos per second ! ... up-to 45 photos per photoset ! ... and, the two newest features, Multi-View Capture & Photosets TV Capture, take it all to the Next Level, enabling you & your friends and/or family to craft innovative Group-oriented Video Stories !

9:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Sunday, December 10th:

FYI, today we are announcing that the company's newly-developed Cosmosent Mobile Device Manager (CMDM) has entered it's first Field Trial ... the CMDM is an important part of our business strategy moving forward, and is required to Distribute the Photosets Freedom app onto any mobile device ... in other words, it's Use is specifically specified in the License Agreement ... it's based-upon the User Assignment model, enabling our Business customers to easily & efficiently distribute Photosets Freedom to their customers, NOT just to their employees !

You can think of it as your own private highly-scalable iOS App Store, with just one app, Photosets Freedom !

12 Noon (San Diego-time) update for Saturday, December 9th:

FYI, we've decided to Limit Availability of Photosets Freedom to ONLY those Apple mobile devices with 3 GB or more of DRAM:

iPhone 7+, iPhone 8+, & iPhone X

10.5" iPad Pro, & 2nd-Gen 12.9" iPad Pro

This decision ensures that all supported devices can capture "at-least 30" Full Resolution 12 Mpx photos per photoset !

7 PM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, December 8th:

FYI, today we officially kicked-off "Photosets Freedom," the B2B version of Photosets X that we had announced just yesterday ... you won't ever see it in the iOS App Store, however, we are confident you will soon hear about it !

Just like Photosets & Photosets X, Photosets Freedom is a rare, true Flagship-caliber Motion Photography camera app !

If all goes well, we'll be announcing our first set of Licensees before the end of the month ! ... no later than mid-January 2018.

11:30 AM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, December 8th:

FYI, we've received overwhelming positive response to the change in Business Strategy that we announced just yesterday, except perhaps for one thing ... the (High) Price of the NON-exclusive License Fee ... as such, to accommodate such concerns, as well as to help expedite adoption, we've decided to adopt a Pay-as-You-Go strategy ... specifically, the Up-Front Fee for the NON-exclusive License is now set at $1M USD, which enables up-to 1M Downloads ... Licensees may (then) enable additional "1M chunks" of Downloads, at $1M USD each.

Most have never heard of Photosets or Photosets X ... we expect that to now change throughout the remainder of December !

If this strategy catches on, as we fully expect it will, we expect every single App Developer with a Unique & Innovative app to follow suit.

And naturally, we're now also Fast Tracking "Photosets for Android" !

9:30 PM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, December 7th:

Cosmosent Labs, Inc., is today announcing that the company has officially "pivoted" from Consumer apps to B2B apps ... specifically, the Photosets & Photosets X codebase will now live-on as a Business-to-Business app that we selectively license to particular companies, organizations, states, & countries ... as such, we have permanently removed Photosets X from sale in the iOS App Store.

The NON-exclusive License Fee is $100M USD & includes Three Full Years of Updates ! ... source code will NOT be provided to anyone, under ANY circumstance.

Integral to the solution is our newly-developed "Photosets TV for Mac" companion app (see below), which is included in the License Agreement.

Photosets / Photosets X is a Billion Dollar (Plus) App that simply wasn't treated as such by Apple ... as such, "we are (now) taking our marbles elsewhere".

Many of you "may" now never have access to all the cool things in the Photosets codebase, and certainly NOT to any of the cool things in the Updates coming down the Pipe ... you can thank Tim Cook & Phil Schiller for that !

We've already devoted more than 15,000 R&D hours into the Photosets codebase ... Multi-View, Photosets TV, & LiveColor Discovery™ ALL need to be Enhanced & Refined as much as possible, and the app's User Experience needs to be improved as much as possible ... the app is already fairly Robust for what it is, so other than what we've mentioned, plus the misc. Bug Fixes along the way, It's Good to Go for the Long Haul !

10:30 AM (San Diego-time) update for Thursday, December 7th:

In addition to working on v1.11, we're also currently working on the Consumer-version of "Photosets TV for Mac," and hope to Release it in a few days ... it supports up-to four iOS devices plus a Mac (so, five total devices in the "Session"), and will be priced at $5 USD ... and very-importantly, it will ONLY be available via this website.

From a high-level perspective, "Photosets TV for Mac" is simply a Media Player that enables you to craft innovative "Group-oriented" Video Stories, while at the same time, magically Offloading your recently-captured photosets (from your iOS devices) ! ... it consists of the Editor / Playback Controller portion of Photosets X, with some custom secret-sauce to make it all happen in an Efficient & User Friendly manner !

The significance of Photosets TV for Mac should NOT be UNDER-estimated by anyone ... very specifically, it's our starting point for developing custom set-top boxes for certain Business Segments that we have an interest in, and UN-like anything on the market today ! ... if you're able to think outside the box, you just might be able to figure-out what we're talking about ... there is a Hint to it all in the app, in Settings ... the Business-version of Photosets TV for Mac will ONLY be available to certain customers we've cut a deal with, while the Consumer-version of Photosets TV for Mac will be available to ALL !

Photosets X is currently available ONLY in the States.

The (updated) Menu options for Photosets X (v1.10)

10 PM (San Diego-time) update for Tuesday, November 28th:

FYI, we we're out of the Office most of today, giving Live Demo Public Presentations of our "Multi-View Capture" & "Photosets TV Capture" implementations ... part Field Test, and part Q&A, the presentations were a BIG success  ... and while most of the (final) code is already in (Photosets X), you won't be able to Enable the features in v1.9 ... you will however, see it all (in Action) very soon !

v1.10 adds "Multi-View Capture" & "Photosets TV Capture"

Multi-View Capture is simply multi-User and/or multi-Device capture, with each Photosets X app configured as either Master, Slave, or Master/Slave (Round Robin Scheduler).

Photosets TV Capture is simply the sending of photosets, as they are being captured by the camera, to the "Photosets TV for Mac" app running on your local Mac.

Whether you're In the Field or In the Studio, "Multi-View" & "Photosets TV" are designed to work well together !

FYI, we're currently working on Video Tutorials & In-App User Instructions to try to help our Users get up to speed as quickly as possible ... we hope to have these available by early-December ... Photosets X is a comprehensive & powerful Camera, Editor, Video Maker & Video Story Maker, that may be difficult for some to Master without such User Tools.

This website covers five Unique & Innovative topics
(none similar to anything you've probably ever seen or experienced before):

1.) the "Photosets X" iOS camera app (also known as "Rocket"),

2.) the "Photosets TV for Mac" Media Player (a companion app for Photosets X),

3.) our custom "Autonomous Synchronized Multi-View Capture" technology,

4.) the "Photosets Social Network," &

5.) the "Photosets Thunder" attachment camera.

Key Tip for Effectively using Photosets X

If you want to get the most out of Photosets X on your particular Apple mobile, you'll need to Force Quit ALL backgrounded apps ... such apps eat-up precious memory (i.e., DRAM), which prevents Photosets X from running at it's Highest-Performance level.

Photosets TV for Mac - The BIG Picture

(When used together, Photosets X is "the Producer" of content, while Photosets TV for Mac is "the Consumer" of content ... when running Photosets TV for Mac, we anticipate that ~50% of our Users will drive their BIG screen TV with their Mac, via an HDMI cable)

6 PM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, November 17th:

Quick follow-up regarding our "Photosets TV for Mac" app before heading out for a Beer: 1.) to Download it, you'll need to have an account setup with our "Photosets Social Network," 2.) there is NO cost for signing-up or using our Photosets Social Network, 3.) we're building two different, but very similar, versions of Photosets TV for Mac, one for Consumers (up-to 8 concurrent streams), and one for Businesses (up-to 16 concurrent streams), & 4.) we hope to have the Consumer version available for download by this time next week !

Photosets X is the camera front-end for both Photosets TV for Mac, as well as the Photosets Social Net.

We believe the Consumer version of Photosets TV for Mac has a fair chance to become a BIG hit around the Christmas tree, on Christmas Day, especially if you have young kids !

When our Photosets Social Network goes Live, you'll then be able to upload your Photoset Videos & your hand-picked Favorite Photoset Photos to it, via Photosets X, as well as Photosets TV for Mac !

If you're a Pro Photographer or a high-end Amateur Photographer AND you have an interest in HIGH-quality photos that have never been compressed, you're gonna absolutely Love what you're about to Discover !

11:30 AM (San Diego-time) update for Friday, November 17th:

Today we are announcing that "Photosets TV for Mac," our first-ever non-iOS app, should become available for download in late-November ! ... it's a unique & innovative companion Media Player app for our Photosets X iOS app, and we intend to offer it ONLY via this website.

Late yesterday, we decided to go with a Mac version, instead of one or more set-top box versions, for various key reasons: i.) Significantly Higher Performance, especially when transferring UN-compressed photosets from Photosets X, ii.) many Macs are portable (thus it works well in the Field), iii.) many Photography Pros (already) have Macs, iv.) it's the smart "Business" move (for various reasons), and v.) it's the smart "long-term" R&D move (the specifics of this we're keeping in our back pocket, for now) ... please see our News webpage for additional information on all this.

Important Things to know about Photosets X

It's a combination (Burst mode) Camera, Editor / Playback Controller, Video Maker, & Video Story Maker.

It consists of three key sections, the Camera (in the Middle), Main (on the Left), & the Editor / Playback Controller (on the Right).

When you tap the camera's Start Button, you're "triggering" the start of a photoset capture operation.

For each photoset capture operation, the following parameters are determined by you: capture resolution, number of photos, photo capture rate, color space, & lens.

You can change the capture parameters anytime you want; you have FULL control of everything on a per-photoset basis.

Each capture operation represents a unique photoset, and is stored in it's own sub-directory.

Captured photosets are stored ONLY inside the app.

Embeds the all-important Display P3 ICC (color) profile into the metadata of captured "wide color" photos.

While Apple calls it "Wide Color," we call it LiveColor™, a more Female-friendly version of the same (what was Phil Shiller thinking ?).

In the Editor, you can Select / "Tag" up-to five Favorite photos per photoset.

Star, then Apply, then Save, for each photo you want to "tag" as a Favorite.

Star, then Reset, if you mess-up and want to Reset all the Favorite "tags" (for the selected photoset).

In the Editor, you can Trim-off any UN-wanted Begin and/or End photos (for the selected photoset).

In Main, you can make Videos from single photosets, & craft Video "Stories" from up-to 30 photosets.

Favorite photos will be Exported (as a group) with Videos from single photosets.

Offers Best-in-Class AirDrop support, both app-to-app, as well as app-to-Mac (and back).

Supports the iPad-oriented Slide Over and Split View features.

The Video Story feature can be used to craft innovative Vivid / Vibrant color Music Videos !

An especially good fit for Capturing & Presenting: i.) Sports Highlights, ii.) Female Photo Modeling & Fashion Shows, & iii.) Dynamic Nature Scenes.
